HOW TO TUNE A SNOWBOARD

When tuning your snowboard there are some tools that you will need:

-iron
-wax (the bar kind, no wussy rub on)
-file (preferably guided)
-wax scraper
-deburring stone
-rag
-screwdriver
-base cleaner
these tools can be bought at most sporting good/snowboard shops.

So what do you do with these tools? Follow my 5 easy steps.
clean your board with the base cleaner
2)sharpen the edges with your file
3)wax the board- (caution: hot and may ruin iron!!)heat the iron, hold the wax up to the iron causing it to drip on the board, make the drops in a wavy pattern, then spread the drops around with the hot iron, let semi-dry then scrape it off with the scraper (push down hard and pull). Keep scraping untill you cannot get any wax up with it. Dont worry there is still plenty of wax on it.
4)buff it smooth with the rag.
5)turn the board over and tighten down the bindings with the screwdriver.
